One of my main memories as a child at christmas was feeling the stocking at the end of the bed. Ours back “in the old days” had netting on one side so you could peek in to see what was there, my other main memory of the stockings was the musty smell of them which I always associate with christmas but in reality it was just the musty old smell of the loft!

Hanging our Christmas stockings is perhaps my son’s favorite thing to do. I sometimes thinks he likes it better than opening his presents on Christmas day.

Of all the decorations available for the Festive Season…garlands are the most diverse and beautiful. They can be uses on trees, mantles, stair bannisters, furniture, and much, much more. They can be decorated with tinsel and ornaments…just like a tree. And, finally, thanks for using the plugins.

My mom made some great Christmas stocking last year. She spent some time making them, but it was all worth it. I love them, and I’m sure that my kids will love them as well.

So we have our own tradition..every year, for Christmas, we hang my moms’ Christmas stocking by the fireplace, and stuff them with toys for the kids.
